Photocopy service


The acceptable range of photocopying at TUT library

Photocopying of library materials is subject to copyright law.
Therefore the following restrictions apply to the photocopying of library materials.

Please fill in a "Photocopy application form" (title, volume, issue, year, page and number of copies) and put it into the tray next to the color copiers or submit it to the counter before doing any photocopy.

# Less than half of a given publication can be copied.
# Copying for more than half of a publication is permitted only after the author has passed away for 70 years. (To copy more than half of a publication, you must obtain permission from the current copyright holder.)
# The complete text of an article or other item published in a regular publication may be reproduced only after a certain time interval following its publication (typically three months after publication, or after the next issue has come out).
# Only one copy can be made per person.
# Copying is permitted only for research purpose.
# Re-copying is not permitted.
# Re-distribution is not permitted.

Color Copiers : 2nd floor

For official use.
Staff pass or a dedicated copy card is required.
If students need to use this copier, please obtain dedicated copy card from your supervising professor.
Library dedicated copy cards are distributed to teachers who wish to use. Please contact the Library and Information Section.

*Pay-Type color copiers for personal use has been removed at the end of March 2024. If you would like to make copies at your own expense, please inquire at the library counter.
Copying is not possible with the multifunction device installed in the workstation area.
